Blumenthal bought the pub in 2004 but has made a point of celebrating the building's historical origins. Dating back to the 15th century when it first served as a hunting lodge, both the interior and the menu retain original elements while delivering a 21st-century gastronomy that has not only won the pub a Michelin star, but also made it one of the most popular places to eat and drink outside of London.
