Description

Enjoy a day on some the finest fly fishing waters in the South East. H&B Fly Fishing School's main teaching venues in the south-east; Spring Hill Trout Waters and Yew Tree Trout Fishery are both situated in the beautiful Weald of Kent, near Royal Tunbridge Wells. Both are beautiful locations and ideal for beginner and improving trout fishers. Just 45 minutes from the capital and an hour from much of Kent, Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire, the lakes offer convenience, stunning natural beauty and unquestionably desirable fishing.

Your expert instructor, Bob Sherwood, has a prolific profile as a fly fisherman and comes with a portfolio of equal stature. Bob is an experienced instructor and the first person to qualify as an advanced instructor in all three disciplines of single handed casting, double handed casting and fly dressing under the modern AAPGAI system, the most recognised and most respected fly casting qualifications in the UK.

Bob serves as Secretary of the Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors (AAPGAI) and has written various pieces for high-profile outlets, with the likes of The Financial Times Magazine and FieldSports topping the accreditation list. Fly fishing is Bob’s passion, so whether this will be your first fishing adventure or whether you’re a more experienced fisherman adding to your skills list, Bob provides the highest level of service and tuition in this field.

For those testing the water as a first-time fisher, learn to cast with Bob's expert instruction and enjoy the wonderful art of fly fishing. You'll cover every aspect from technique to roll and overhead casts, tackle set-up and fly recognition, using teaching methods that take the mystique out of fly casting and focus focusing on simple concepts, making for an informative and entertaining days fishing.

Those more experienced in the art of fly fishing will receive hugely beneficial advice and expert knowledge to advance to the next level. Whether you need help casting further, handling unfamiliar outfits, dealing with tricky winds or ironing out any faults, Bob will instruct and guide you through the next step in your progression.

For those who know their way around a lake with advanced skill, Bob's masterclass will further increase technique. You'll master the Spey casts, snake roll and snap-T, as well as specialist presentation casts: curves, mends and slack line casts.

Any equipment you need is included, from rod to flies, as is any miscellaneous fishing costs such as rod licence and lake ticket, taking all the hassle out of your day of fishing.
