Nestled in the spectacular countryside of the South Downs, Hambledon Estate is home to the oldest commercial winery in the UK. But age has not stopped progress, and in 2013, the Duchess of Cornwall cut the ribbon on a new £2.5m all gravity-fed state-of-the-art winery. On your tour, you’ll discover how wine visionary, Iain Kellet revolutionised the winery and why Hambledon now produces a mix of 50% sparkling wine and 50% traditional wines. Their collaboration with Pol Roger has made them a tour de force in the local sparkling wine industry and you can taste why!

Situated in the historic village of Hambledon, the vineyard is renowned for its pioneering role in English winemaking. The estate focuses on producing high-quality English sparkling wines, leveraging its unique terroir. Hambledon has received numerous accolades for its wines and is also a proud sponsor of the Southern Vipers women's cricket team. The vineyard continues to innovate, recently expanding its visitor facilities to enhance the wine tasting and tourism experience.
