Vamizi Island is a peaceful sanctuary of barefoot luxury.The island lies off the coast of Mozambique, surrounded by impossibly beautiful sea views and over seven kilometres of unspoilt beach. A hidden gem in the Indian Ocean, Vamizi Island is the ideal location for a romantic escape.
Vamizi Island Lodge lies amidst the shade of overarching foliage, a stones throw from the beach, with an air of seclusion and privacy. The Arabic overtones are clear in the decor; visible throughout the spacious living room, spectacular bathroom and breezy veranda. Traditional in style and eco-friendly in design, the kitalas were constructed from local materials.
For active guests, your holiday at Vamizi Island Lodge includes excellent mountain bike trails, bird walks, and private picnics. Marine activities are also on offer, such as world-class blue water fishing and fly fishing, scuba diving, dhow cruises and snorkeling in some of the most pristine coral reefs of the Indian Ocean.
