For the duration of your masterclass at The Bar at the Athenaeum, you’ll be guided through four different flavour profiles from across the world. Understanding how they are produced and distributed, you’ll then sample a 25ml dram of each. To complement the whisky, premium cheeses are included throughout the tasting, highlighting the complex characteristics of each. Perfectly paired are Islay of Whisky OC2 and Dorstone Cheese; Highland Park (25yrs) and Durrus Cheese; Hibiki (17yrs) and Stichelton Cheese; and Ardbeg Supernova (2009) and Kirkham’s Lancashire.
