COLLEGES OF CAMBRIDGE Weekend Break with Michelin Star Dining and Private City Tour

Cambridge is known for its beautiful green surroundings and stunning gothic architecture - and probably most famous for its university. Since its foundation in the 13th Century, the University of Cambridge has produced alumni including Sir Issac Newton, Sir Francis Bacon and Charles Darwin, whilst earth-changing discoveries such as the structure of DNA have been unearthed on its grounds.

Just as impressive as what the University has produced, are the buildings it all happened in. Probably the most famous of these is King's College and the King's College Chapel; built from 1446 to 1531, it is widely considered one of the greatest examples of late Gothic English architecture.

Your guided tour of the city will last approximately two hours, during which time your private guide will exclusively show you around the city's best spots. This tour is entirely tailored to you - if there are any colleges or sights you are particularly interested in, your expert local guide will be happy to show you around. They will meet you at your hotel to begin the tour, and can either lead you back after or leave you to continue your Cambridge trip from its centre.

• Day one: Arrival and check-in to the hotel followed by dinner at at one of Cambridge's leading restaurants
• Day two: Meet your guide at the hotel and head to privately guided tour of Cambridge and its famous colleges. Check out of the hotel after the tour
