On arrival, you’ll be met by a chauffeur-driven limousine at the airport, transporting you to this little piece of paradise. The afternoon can be spent on the beach, or relaxing on your king-sized bed as you gaze out onto the ocean. For dinner, you’ll be invited to spend the evening dining at the ever-romantic Barba Danilo, an intimate family-owned restaurant with a menu of fresh, local cuisine.

The old town of Rovinj is a short walk down from the hotel, showcasing an alluring jumble of brightly painted houses and narrow alleyways rising up out of the sea on a slender peninsula. Named one of the most ‘photogenic towns on the Adriatic’, it is best explored with an experienced guide who will take you on a private walking tour of this historic place.

A 3000-year old city, Pula, is a short drive away from Rovinj and is full of culture and steeped in antiquity. You’ll explore sights such as the Roman amphitheatre, Golden Gate and Temple of Augustus, followed by an exclusive safari through the wonders of nature that are the Brijuni Islands.

Of course, no trip to Croatia is complete without a visit to the northern corner of the peninsula, boasting local specialties such as wine, olive oil, liqueurs and the famous white Istrian truffles - tartufi. Full of culinary delights, romantic strolls and intimate spaces, the land of magic awaits.

• Day two: Private walking tour through the old town of Rovinj
• Day three: Private guided tour of Pula and National Park Brijuni
• Day four: Day reserved to enjoy the hotel spa
• Day five: Explore the Tuscany of Croatia with a gastronomic Istrian tour
• Day six: Relax at the hotel and on romantic strolls in the beautiful Rovinj
• Day seven: Check out and departure home
