Frog by Adam Handling in Covent Garden opened in September 2017 and is Adam Handling’s flagship restaurant site. The restaurant has been heralded as a ‘smash hit’ by the Evening Standard and has been voted one of the best restaurants in London by Condé Nast Traveller. Frog by Adam Handling has also won prestigious awards since its opening, including ‘Best Newcomer Restaurant’ in the 2018 Food & Travel Reader Awards and ‘Best Overall Wine List’ at the 2019 Wine List Confidential awards.
Just below this outstanding venue lies the sumptuous Eve Bar, Handling’s first stand-alone bar. The menu offers traditional cocktails, such as the Negroni, Old Fashioned and Margarita, but Eve’s Signature Selection suggests an original collection with the likes of the Adam’s Apple, a clear drink crafted from leftover fruit offcuts that are converted and distilled with infused tequila and cherry bark, or the Peat’D Colada, an intriguing blend of Bacardi Carta Blanca, coconut and pineapple, with just a hint of bubbles.
While visiting one of Handling’s Hideaways, it’s not just the drinks that cause a stir. Snacks are artistic and unique, like the little spicy bites of Crab Kimchi Tarts or the Razor Clams, served on top of a foggy bowl looking like a witch’s cauldron. To complement your cocktails, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy bar snacks such as black cod, beef and herbs, and egg and caviar.
