Treehouse Lodge sits on 350 acres of preserved Amazon Rainforest surrounded by thousands of acres of additional protected land. Nearby is the famous Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve – one of the largest protected areas in Peru, boasting some of the greatest biodiversity in the world.

Take in an awe-inspiring arrival by river boat on the Marañón River, crossing the Amazon River, and continuing up the Ucayali River before connecting to beautiful black waters of the Yarapa River, a tributary to the Amazon River near Iquitos. Slowly navigating the waters, this is the only accessible route find Treehouse Lodge, nestled on the banks of high up in the jungle canopy.

Located up to 67 feet above the forest floor, Treehouse Lodge’s eight treehouse’s are quaint yet luxurious, blending seamlessly into the canopies dense façade. King-sized beds, flowing drapes and woven bamboo furnishings are completely open to the elements but for a mosquito net, ensuring you’re within touching distance of the Amazon’s abundant wildlife.

During your stay you’ll encounter majestic birdlife, come face to face with confident monkeys and swim with bizarre marine life, including pink dolphins and manatees.

Treehouse Lodge provides guests with a plethora of enticing activities, all included in your stay, to witness as much of these creatures in their natural habitat as possible. Be sure to pack light-weight clothing that breathes and easily sheds moisture; cotton is not recommended. Long hiking socks and trousers are recommended for jungle walks. Sun hat, hiking boots and lightweight poncho are essential.

In planning your trip, take into consideration the type of Amazon experience you prefer. December – May brings high-water season, bringing more rain but more navigable waterways, streams and lakes. The low-water season spans June – November, allowing more dry jungle terrain for excursions on foot.

Due to the lodge’s close proximity to the equator, the temperature, humidity, and daylight hours are similar year-round.
