As the former managing director of the Gaucho group, there are very few people in the world who know more about steak than Martin Williams.

Martin has teamed up with head Chef Jarad McCarroll to design this exclusive beef tasting menu for TRULY guests, showcasing the finest produce available. Embark on a journey through six countries, tasting the best beef from each. Seasonally changing, the meal may begin with a crisp, refreshing South African Biltong Salad, before moving onto an innovative take on Argentinian Black Angus steak tartare and a French Limousin steamed bun.

During the meal, explore the ageing room with M’s in-house butcher and learn about the variety of cattle breeds used at the restaurant. The butcher will also explore the effect of breed, diet and ageing techniques on flavour and tenderness of a steak.

With this new-found knowledge in tow, return to the table to enjoy three extraordinary pieces of meat served together as a trio of meat. Each steak is aged individually, ensuring it reaches its maximum potential, including the world-renowned Blackmore Wagyu and Tajima-guy Kobe beef; the highest quality available outside of Japan.

  • Much style over substance

    For a steak tasting meal there wasn't a lot of steak. The first course was biltong salad where you could hardly taste the biltong due to the vinegarette, the 2nd was steak tartare which was nice and the third was rib. That isn't steak, didn't taste of much and was presented in a very floury Japanese bun. All of these courses were quite underwhelming considering the price. The three real steaks came altogether so it wasn't really 6 courses and of course only amounted to 90g of steak each.

    The whole evening was fantastic , all the staff that we met wished my husband a happy birthday, we had our cocktails in a very swanky private room and the food was unbelievably good! Thank you very much!
