Located on Kensington High Street, Kitchen W8 has maintained the highest standards; reflected by its retention of a Michelin star since 2011.

The home away from home atmosphere is matched by an elegant dining space that features olive greens, muted tones and smart stencilling. Along with the charming and friendly service, Kitchen W8 is a quintessentially refined neighbourhood eatery.

The menu follows the influence of sister restaurant, The Square, with modern English cuisine served with French flourishes. The Modern European menu changes seasonally to reflect the finest ingredients, and encompasses a range of dishes from lighter foods in the warmer months to more opulent, hearty dishes when the weather dictates; in-keeping with the restaurant's homely, welcoming ethos.

The tasting menu at Kitchen W8 offers a chance to indulge in Michelin star fare in unpretentious, cosy surroundings; a rare and genuine experience in West London.

Reviews

  • The Kitchen W8

My wife and I found the six course tasting menu at Kitchen W8 to be a wonderful combination of imaginative flavours. Each course was superb and complimented each other. The ambience of the restaurant was great and the service matched the high quality of the food.

    A+

Excellent experience from start to finish. From booking to eating
    Thanks.

  • Average experience

Food was not as good as expected. Service was poor - communication was difficult and it seemed like the staff was bored and didn't care about providing excellent service.

    Food was excellent

The location of the restaurant was good, the ambience and setting of the dining room polished but comfortable. Staff were pleasant and engaging. The food was excellent, in particular the substitutions for two dishes in the tasting menu given my husband does not eat seafood. We have found previously that in some tastings/degustations there has been poor attention paid to this aspect.

  • Took care of everything

Fast response, no issues and was given all the information needed. I didn't feel the need to get in touch as everything was done for me and was informed by Heather.

    Great food, slow service

Great food and wine - the service was a little slow

  • Felt like a VIP

The food, wine and service was fantastic. Really felt like a VIP.
