Description

Curiousity and a passion for food led ex-solicitor, Naomi Knill to launch her food blog, “The Ginger Gourmand”, in 2007. Since then she has built up a large social media following and has contributed to prominent food publications including Delicious magazine, The Guardian, Londonist, and Top Santé.

As well as featuring in Paul Hollywood’s BBC2 programme, ‘Bread’, Naomi has also set up stall with her delicious creations at the Covent Garden “Real Food Market,” baked for several local cafés and recently hosted a successful supper club in Soho.

Peckham has recently undergone a renaissance. A strong sense of local entrepreneurship and community spirit has led to a surge in independent shops, restaurants and cafés.

An experience with Naomi will lead you through the small local cafes, restaurants and independent businesses of this culturally and ethnically diverse area, learning about and meeting the chefs, producers and business owners who are the true behind-the-scene champions of London’s culinary progress in the vegetarian and vegan scene.

Naomi will provide unique insight into the array of vegetarian food on offer, knowledge about the ingredients, fresh produce and how best to prepare them - all the while filling up on delicious bites!
