Nobu London was founded by celebrated master chef Nobu Matsuhisa, who remains famous for his “fusion cuisine”: Japanese dishes with flavourful Peruvian ingredients. In collaboration with partners Robert Di Niro, restaurateur Drew Nierporent and hotel owner Christina Ong, Nobu London was the first European venture for Matsuhisa, who originally trained in sushi making in Tokyo. Described as an “innovative thinking” chef, he has become a master in his field, and has launched a worldwide empire.

Chef Matsuhisa takes fine dining is taken to the next level, while remaining true to authentic Japanese food. The menu features signature plates that incorporate South American influences, earning the name “new style” Japanese cuisine.
