Originally a Royal Navy light cruiser, HMS Belfast gives visitors an insight into life onboard this iconic warship during WWII. Now part of Imperial War Museums, the museum ship is dedicated to telling the stories of those who lived and worked on board during its time in active service at sea.

Find your sea legs and explore all nine decks of the ship’s amazing history. Venture into the interactive Operations Room to understand how the ship worked, and delve even deeper into the bowels of the ship in the Engine Room. Enjoy the view up the Thames from HMS Belfast’s elevated vantage points and hear first-hand accounts from veterans in the Life at Sea Exhibition and experience the sights and sounds of battle, as the ship opened fire in support of the Allied troops at the D-Day landings in The Gun Turret Experience.

Round off the day with a three-course lunch menu at elegant restaurant, Le Pont de la Tour. Head Chef, Frederick Forster has trained under some of the world’s finest chefs and serves a combination of flavoursome traditional and modern French dishes with technical precision. The restaurant boasts an extensive terrace with stunning, uninterrupted views of the City and Tower Bridge complemented by a design inspired by 1930’s Parisian chic.
