Description
Terlingham Vineyard is a boutique, family-run enterprise nestled in the heart of the Garden of England, near Folkestone. The owners are passionate about growing high-quality grapes and producing unique English wines with integrity.
In 2014, new owners Graham and Lorna Wilks embarked on the journey of using exclusively natural farming techniques and producing natural wines under the knowledgeable and enthusiastic guidance of winemaker, Kobus Louw.
During the wine tour and tasting experience, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about traditional and natural wine making processes, including the entirety of production – from where the grapes come from, to how they are caged and riddled by hand.
The tasting is held in the vineyard marque overlooking the English Channel and includes both sparkling and still wines. The tasting is complemented by a light lunch of soup and followed by tea or coffee and a delicious slice of homemade cake.
This experience is an ideal activity for a group of friends, or as a romantic day out for couples. Perfect as a gift for wine lovers, it makes for a truly memorable experience.
