Description

Originally founded as a two-seat pop-up in Dalson, Bleach London have grown to become London's coolest hair brand; cumulating with the launch of their uber-trendy Soho salon in mid-2015. Vibrant and rebellious, Bleach is synonymous with colour expertise, fun, experimentation and DIY science. Founders Alex Brownsell and Sam Teasdale, who epitomise the brand, have even been described by The Standard as “almost single-handedly responsible for the capital’s en-masse adoption of rainbow-tinted tips.”

With their pioneering spirit, the Bleach Berwick Street work space resembles no other. Stark white walls have been splattered with paint, with metal pipes left exposed and concrete floors laid bare. Interior designer David White is responsible for the aesthetic; which is more modern and directional than the Dalston original, but which undoubtedly still captures the spirit, fun and rebelliousness that makes Bleach stand out. If you don’t believe us, the colour-mixing dispensary also doubles up as a bar for customers.

As you'd expect from “London’s Coolest Salon” (according to TimeOut), Bleach boasts an impressive celebrity client list. Harpers Bazaar attested to this, branding it “the hair salon that has transformed the tresses of Sienna Miller, Portia Freeman and Pixie Geldof”. Fashion-conscious customers flock to its doors for the latest hair trends, particuarly “the dip dye trend for pastel hues that has swept the nation in the last few years.”

During this exclusive experience, learn the tricks of the trade from the expertly-trained Bleach stylists, all of whom are experts when it comes to hair colour application and technique. In a private two-hour session, you'll learn the key techniques for applying Bleach's 'super cool colour' dyes; either on your own hair (if you have lightened locks), or on a mannequin head. Practice mixing colours, learn how to maintain colour, and stay on the cutting edge of new styling techniques.

For those with darker hair, there's also the option to extend the masterclass by an extra two hours. This extended dip-dye session includes a lesson in bleaching the ends of the hair, before then applying the colour.

As well as leaving with new-found skills, you'll also take home a complimentary set of Bleach products.
