World renowned chef, Raymond Blanc, opened Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons in 1984.
Self taught, Blanc is an award winning and Michelin starred Chef. He was awarded an OBE in 2008 and received the insignia of Chevalier in the Ordre National de La Légion d’Honneur from France in 2013. He is prolific not only for his personal achievements in the culinary world, but also as a mentor to a number of world-class chefs many of whom have gone on to be awarded Michelin stars.

Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is a country house hotel and two Michelin starred restaurant. The restaurant has retained both stars for the past 30 years. Le Manoir boasts a stunning array of gardens but the most impressive are the enviable culinary gardens which provide herbs and vegetables for the restaurant. In 1998 Raymond Blanc opened the Raymond Blanc Cookery School. Uniquely, the school is located within the kitchens of the two Michelin starred restaurant and provides a wide array of culinary courses ranging from patisserie and desserts courses to a vegetarian course. The classes are taught in a relaxed atmosphere and provide a fun, informative day for food lovers from novices to professionals alike.
