Indulge in an eight-course tasting menu at L'Ecrivain

As one of Ireland's best restaurants for over 25 years, the Michelin starred L'Ecrivain offers a contemporary take on Irish and French cuisine.

Headed up by celebrity chef Derry Clarke, and wife Sallyanne, L'Ecrivain is often cited as the best restaurant in Dublin, if not the whole of Ireland. Derry is a veteran of Irish television, known for his judging appearances on RTE One's Fáilte Towers and also featuring on The Restaurant and The Afternoon Show. The couple opened L'Ecrivain in 1989 and, after several transformations, the restaurant still retains those same standards of excellence.

More About L'Ecrivain

The quality of the L'Ecrivain experience is clear the moment you arrive. The restaurant's located on the site of two former Georgian coachhouses, with its very own charming courtyard. It's little wonder that L'Ecrivain was induced into Food & Wine Magazine's 'Hall of Fame' - the restaurant paying much heed to sourcing the finest local ingredients from small Irish suppliers.
