How Can You Tell A Real Unakite From A Fake?

Something vital to remember when choosing and spotting real Unakite is that it must have the pink granite inclusion. If it doesn’t have this pinkish deposit then it would be considered to be Epidosite.

Epidosite is often confused with Unakite due to the similar texture, coloration and make-up of the stone. The easiest way to spot the difference is that Epidosite has a more pistachio green color and no pink feldspar. Unakite will always have the pink feldspar, even if it’s a small amount, and the green hue will be a deeper mossy green.

What Does Unakite Pair With?

Unakite is a high vibrational crystal and should be paired with stones that match its vibration or exceed it.

Some examples of crystals that pair well with Unakite and enhance its magical abilities are: Moldavite, Hermiker Diamonds, Datolite and Phenacite.

Remember that Unakite enhances anything it is used with. For example, if you are using Unakite to heal an addiction then you will want to pair Unakite with another stone used to heal addiction such as Black Obsidian.

If you’re looking for a healing crystal to add to your collection, unakite is an excellent choice.
