Despite what some might think, 2014 wasn’t a bad year. We saw the opening of the likes of City Social, Marcus Wareing’s ‘flawless’ establishment at the Berkeley, and the widely successful Fera at Claridge’s. In retrospect, 2015 has a lot to live up to. Early indications suggest, however, that it just might.

Arriving at Floral Street, Covent Garden this month will be an offshoot of Fitzrovia’s successful Peruvian establishment LIMA. The new restaurant promises to adopt an unrestricted approach to the food that earned its sister joint a Michelin star and various favourable reviews.
This month, there’s going to be a rather special new restaurant in town. Eelbrook, a one of its kind, will be setting up shop on Eel Brook Common in Fulham. Experienced chef Brett Barnes has created an eclectic menu, with tastes deriving from Britain, Europe, and North America.
