MORE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

The Cayuga Collection is a group of nine award-winning boutique eco-lodges, resorts and hotels that span across Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The group is committed to environmental sustainability and the protection of the rainforest, while working to inspire authentic and rewarding adventures with minimal intrusion to the tropical ecosystems.

The rainforests of Costa Rica are amongst the most precious natural wonders of the world. Tour the Osa rainforest; the most biologically intense place on earth, and an integral part of life for the Central American people. Costa Ricans are raised with the understanding that forests are vital for the health of the planet, and your stay in Cayuga's luxurious eco-lodges will help instil that ethos. These boutique resorts offer an ideal location to explore the vast and rich rainforest.

Finca Rosa Blanca attained the highest ranking on the Sustainable Tourism Certification program, having been awarded a perfect score of 100. The property boasts solar panels, natural ventilation and its own organic coffee plantation. On an in-depth tour, you will learn about the history of Costa Rican coffee and you will become skilled at discerning the quality of the freshly roasted Finca Rosa Blanca beans at a “catacion” or cupping session. With outdoor spa experiences, you'll be able to relax and take in the views of volcanoes above and coffee fields below.

Next on your trip, you will stay in the The Osa Peninsula, home to Cayuga’s Lapa Rios. With 2.5% of the world’s biological specimens present, the peninsula is one of the most naturally intense places on earth. Lapa Rios’ 16 eco-bungalows are nestled along a ridge in a 1000-acre Rainforest Reserve. A personally tailored expert-led tour will ensure that you don't miss out on any of the unique species which makes the Osa a naturalists' haven.

To end your trip, you'll be pampered in seaside-luxury at Arenas Del Mar; a hotel nestled in eleven acres of rainforest next to the world renowned Manuel Antonio National Park. The views from the hills overlooking Manuel Antonio are spectacular; the beaches are idyllic, and its jungles are inhabited by a plethora of tropical birds and exotic animals.
